Extraordinary Alien Collection - “Ability” Air Force 1 Low Sneaker
’m a Canadian entrepreneur who recently relocated to NYC as an “extraordinary alien” to chase my dreams in design, sports and footwear.
Alien is a term for non-residents, often used as a slur. But this collection reclaims it for good. All global citizens are aliens and extraordinary in different ways. This collection is gender neutral and was also inspired by the ocean as we’ve only explored 5%, making it more “alien” than the moon. I will be making a donation to ACLU to help protect fellow aliens from the proceeds from this collection.
Inspired by the crab and how it lives in water and land and uses its natural abilities to react to different surroundings, like how immigrants have to adjust in a new land. Orange represents both the hard, armour shell and how aliens must prove their extraordinary abilities to survive. The neutral tones signify the ocean’s colors and the link to our planet.
The shoes are available from October 15th to October 21st from Cultivator.
